5/6 years ago I could've said I liked electro music to someone outside my circle & most wouldn't have a clue what kind music it was.
I'd always would have to say...'You know 'Confusion' by New Order', well... Even mentioning Kraftwerk met with stares.
Now, everything housey is called 'electro' & my favoured genre has been screwed as was 'real' hip-hop.
Almost embaressed to say i like it, because I know they have a totally skewed viewpoint on what it is.

Now I just say electronic music & funk.
I keep my robots close to my chest...

I haven't submitted tracks recently. I did send a disc probably 8 years ago, through someone else, but I didn't hear anything. I don't think i was really ready back then anyway for a real BOTY comp.
I pressed up a track on my own label which was then licensed to Dope On Plastic 8 & Revenge of the B-Boy 2, which i just noticed someone has uploaded on YT. [ame]

I might work on something new & try & submit next year.
Sadly i don't have the skills, talent or equipment to make electro.

I received mine last week as well.
Packaging probably not sturdy enough for a trip to the bottom of the world.
Cover edges crunched & creased, but overall not that bad for its journey.
But luckily vinyl was fine.

I actually did a track '(Skidmarks) for the Australian BOTY 2003 compilation & always wished one of my tracks ended up on a BOTY soundtrack. Was the closest i got to it.
