At the Schnittstelle mastering & vinyl cut studio in Berlin, audio engineer Andreas Kauffelt sets up the heavy lacquer cutting machine for the next Electro release on Dominance Electricity: KALSON feat. Direct Control "SOLARNI SISTEM". This video shows the first step of transferring the mastered music onto vinyl. These cuts into two soft 14-inch lacquer discs are then used by the vinyl pressing plant to produce the negative metallic stampers via electroplating. It's a sccccience!
Dominance Electricity presents KALSON feat. DIRECT CONTROL - SOLARNI SISTEM (DE-028)
Deep space Electro! Serbian Electro astronaut Kalson returns to his German base Dominance Electricity. The title track Solarni Sistem, featuring Direct Control, is a broken beat Electro opus with precise sound design, that starts minimalistic und organically builds up to epic spacy Electrofunk. The beatless Synthapella bonus version highlights the beautiful synth work. Next stop is the Taurus constellation, to which Kalson drives the listener with a hypnotizingly slow-paced, melodic beat. Somewhere between dark Synthwave and classic Berlin School, Kalson and H! round up the release with an ambient rendition of a theme from the 1994 Amiga video game Universe ...floating into deep space eternity.
Next to digital formats, Solarni Sistem is released on limited black and transluzent red 12" vinyl.

Formed in the void and born with a passion for all things Electro, from its roots in the 80s to the present day, Model Citizens inspiration spans decades and this is reflected in their musical output. The album also features West Coast Hip Hop/Electro legend The Egyptian Lover with a remix of his jam “Into The Future” taken from the album “1984“ and as a vocalist on “Sphinx-O-Matic”.
Extra-terrestrial comic artwork courtesy of Germany’s Markus Bülow compliments this release perfectly.

Dominance Electricity pres. NAIL - REVELATION (DE-026)
Polish-Silesian producer Karol Gwóźdź aka Nail joins the German label Dominance Electricity for a mystic 'Revelation'. The title track is an epic ten-minute Electro trip with biblical vocoderized lyrics in Polish language, driving broken beats and hypnotic melody loops. Followed by the slightly more energetic '1987', the release also features two ambient bonus pieces that highlight the beautiful synth work of the two songs. Essential for fans of classic Electro in the vein of Kraftwerk or Anthony Rother. 'Revelation / 1987' is now available in digital formats and as a limited edition 12-inch vinyl.
