Fantastic compilation!! Thank you so much, guys!!
Great stuff!! Haven't heard most of these tracks before...
Quote from Beatronic;38636It shouldn't be too difficult to pick up a copy if you want one.
That's true, it really wasn't difficult because I already had this 12" in my collection!
I didn't remember this track, it must have been years ago when I listened to that record. But it's really a great tune. Thanks for the information and the full tracklist!
Quote from Beatronic;38460Thanks again for taking time to listen, the 'Chief Rockers' mix was done in 2005, the 'MC Stories' mix was done in 2008.
Thanks for the information, simmo!
I've got another question about the Chief Rockers mix. I recognize nearly all the tracks but what's the tune playing from about 2:20 until 4:08? During that time there are samples of Rap-O-Matic Ltd. - Lies, Lies, Mixmaster Gee - Manipulator and Kurtis Blow - Tough, but what is that music playing in the back? Sounds great to me.

Here is a download of another mix I did from a couple of years ago called 'MC Stories', you might enjoy this too...
Yeah, this is another nice one. Thank you very much, I haven't heard it before!!
Do you know in which year you did this one and the Chief Rockers mix?
Yes, there are 2 slightly different versions of this great tune existing but both versions have been released as a promo and official release, which means that there are 4 different records if you want to collect them all.
Many people think that it is just a difference between promo and official release but that's not true. I have both versions as a promo and one official release which means that one is still missing.
Wow! Thank you very much for these fantastic mixes!!
You really did a great job. Great classic rap tracks and a perfect way of mixing them smoothly together. I love the way you "create" new tracks by mixing the vocals of one tune with the beats from another.
If you are the same Simmo who did the "Chief Rockers & Monster Beats" mix, I can tell you that to me that one is still the best mix I have heard in my life. I must have listened to it hundreds of times and still love it. So keep on rocking, mate!!

it reads there's were shoutouts of different cities in the song...the record i have does not featuzre these...although i would be cooldo you know a version with the shoutouts?
The shoutouts of the cities are on the instrumental version if I remember it correctly...
great funky stuff! Thanks for the share, funkmaster!!
Thanks for sharing!! Downloading right now...
I see you got that T-Shirt by Debonaire. I ordered the special edition pack too but the record arrived here without the shirt.
Haha, I always liked it. But I don't know what I would say if I heard it for the first time today...
Can't decide. There are so many great tracks (and also wack ones) from both coasts...
If I had to decide though I would say I am a bit more a westcoast fan.
I like the album.
My favorite is "Transformation"...

Nice record. I just found a cheap copy some weeks ago...

Great stuff, and Street Rhymes is even better.
I wish I could find a cheap copy...
Great record in my opinion.
Maybe some don't like the singing on this track...

@ bassjunky : is that the PROMO version you mean? I know that one sounds different and lacks certain bits.
It's not a question of promo or official release. As far as I know both versions exist as promo and official. I have 2 promos, and they have the different versions.
...on Boston International Records.
This is the re-press of that original record:
Third Degree - Bass It Baby (87 Remix)
MCC - Bass Rock The Planet
Maggotron - Radio Mars
and so many others...
Fantastic tune!!
Their other 12" Space Traveller is also nice...
