thanks guys, and cheers for the lovely review Evan, top stuff!

I now have the vinyl, heavyweight 12" sealed in plastic.
£4.99 per unit. Sorry, guys I'm gonna have to charge for shipping now, in some cases it was costing me more to post!
In general...
UK is £1.50
Europe £3.50
US and Australia £8So, it may be more cost effective to grab a few bits as it's the same price for shipping
cheers

thanks guys,
er.. slight delay on the release date. Had to be pushed back to 13th August as the plant had a backlog or something.
They may be ready before - in which case, I'll let you know - but after the Man vs Machine saga I think it's better to take time and get it right
-
thanks guys!
Expecting the shipment on 5th August. I'll message y'all with details then
all the best

evenin' all,
sorry about the delay on the vinyl, the pressing plant have been a pretty slow getting onto it, the bank holidays and royal wedding etc also didn't help!
I've been told they'll be with me this week, as soon as they are here I'll be firing out to people. Thanks for your patience
all the best

I also made a payment. but £8.99/$14Aus with shipping. ?????????
Pip, that is an incredibly cheap price to Australia. Are you really sure about that? Thanks for the effort though AAA++++
thanks for buying the vinyl man. We're not about making money, it's all about the music and getting it heard by the right people. big ups to all involved

some interesting posts on here. Thought I'd give my opinion, for what it's worth!
Totally agree with R21, compression on the drum parts and bass are pretty much standard procedure for me too. I really like Izotope plugs. I tried Sonnox and didn't get on with 'em, but loads of peeps swear by it, so it's all personal taste.
Izotope Alloy is low latency and really good for individual tracks to add bit of compression, EQ etc to beefy stuff up or cut through the mix better. Not sure if there's much truth to this but 'the experts' say cut the EQs, not boost
A/B EQ from tracks you like with some sort of analyser, they do a great one in Izotope Ozone. Should see ya reet

..by the way what's about the shipping price?
shipping/postage is included in the price

many thanks to all who voted. Thanks also to those who have pre-paid for the vinyl.
I'll be heading down to the pressing plant tmrw afternoon. Will be attending the cut to make sure all is cool and then I've been told it'll be a couple of weeks before we get the shipment back to fire out to everybody.
If you are interested in a copy, I'll be putting up a link on the Shameless Toady Bandcamp page, or you can come to me direct pipventre@hotmail.com (or through EE)
all the best!

OK guys, I tell you what...
The response has been really excellent so far (thank you for that btw).
I didn't want to put anything up on Bandcamp til next week after the poll finishes.
However, If you want to pay for a copy now I will hold them back until ready for shipping so you definitely receive a copy. Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere
so you will 100% get the 12 when they are ready to ship and the votes are in.
I understand if any of you have reservations paying in advance, but thought I'd put it out there anyway. The cost on Bandcamp will be slightly more than if you come direct as they take a % on sales
BC £8.99
Pip Direct £7.99I can take orders through Paypal (via pipventre@hotmail.com) or PM me and I can give you some bank deets if you prefer
cheers!

If I ordered a vinyl copy, with so few copies being made, I'd feel like I'd be cheating the people that had a legitimate use for it, i.e. "real" DJs. Oh well... Anyway, I'm still trying to make my decision here. It's a tough one. They all are pretty bad ass.
you do have a legitamate use! To listen to, and enjoy, good music. Actually, you probably have more of a legit reason... if you're not using it to play out it'll withstand the test of time better, DJs tend to be pretty ruthless with their wax
You are very welcome to as many copies as you like when it goes on Bandcamp, dude. Link will follow next week...
cheers!
