Heres a review of the event. Its the last few lines that people should now focus on i think.
    ------------
Lastly, there are whispers of a Street Sounds event being held every year.
And there are rumours of acts such as DJ Cheese, MC Chill, T LA Rock, The Aleems, Knights Of The Turntables, MC Spyder D, MC Shan and Davy DMX who are ready and willing to come and perform in London

A once a year event would be good thing. Im sure there is a market for it and as far as im aware there is nothing catering for the old school heads with all the original artists?

    Quote from repo136;54929

I was a the event on Saturday and as anyone who was there will attest, it was a great night.
That's all we wanted and that's what we got.
I met some of my childhood heroes and got autographs from the artists including Cozmo who did so with complete reverence and humility.
But most of all everywhere you looked was completely positive, like-minded old blokes who still love and live the spirit of the time of electro. I could talk to anyone without fear of retribution which sadly is not the case on this board.

    Nice review n your site!

Cheers for the mixes, gonna try and hunt them down!

Two others worth checking, incase you havnt heard of ar DJ Revolution, Best of 85, and also 86.... Best of 85 the better of the two IMO. Both worth checking though.

After listening to this mix my conclusion is that it was made on a pc unless the guy has eight arms
theres no way all the records could be cued up so quickly and in perfect time as they are, theres just so much going on for it to be done on decks the planet rock beat that runs through it a lot has been looped for a start.

Still it is a good mix,but hey Greg who ya trying to kid i've been in this game 20 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

    Agreed!!!! :)
