Do you still have your FIRST tracks you made as a producer?

Was just thinking about this. I got bored and decided to go through my backup drive. I ended up listening to all my old tracks back to some of my first, from about 4 years ago.

Some were ok, but most were garbage. It's pretty amazing to actually HEAR how far I've come.

So I was just wondering...Do you guys still have your first tunes you made?

I have some but they are all on cassette as from c. 1987!

Hard to compare with today's productions due to the equipment used back then (four track recorder, decks and pause button tape edits) but not bad considering the limitations and the fact that I was only 13/14!

Same as Diplomat, mine are on cassette too! Going to get them digitised one day. I had a major hard disk malfunction years ago and lost them all.. I've been backing up ever since!

Man, that brings back memories it was actually a live set i did on an old win95 computer but i can`t remember what program it was. Have to do a little research mybe i`ll find it.

good idea , in the beggining i was use fast tracker 2 :))))) maybe i have some traxx (very childish attempt to program some electro music since back then !)

Well, here it is. One of my first "Tracks," if you can even call it that. This is from December of 2007. The original file was deleted in a HDD failure and only one of my original renders survives.

It was made in Reason 3.0. It's funny listening back on this. The levels are WAY off. The structure is weird. It's not even complete, LMAO.

If I had the file and the ability to remake it now - I think it could be pretty dope. It's dark!

@Mongolid man, that's not too bad at all! Good work i recon... the levels need a little love but on the whole cool stuff.

I got one! I pulled out a tape which just said "XFighter" on it. Just one track on a forgotten tape. I'm guessing it's around 2001 but only got the recognition of my samples to go by!

Quite chuffed to be honest!

Sorry it took me so long to get back. Been busy with work. Dude, that's pretty good too! You still have waaaaay surpassed me. I hope to one day reach your level. Practice and patience, no?

i have tracks i recorded around 84-85ish. wouldnt put them up here though
