In alpha and beta phase, tack 'Lemon' was called 'Yellow' as its part from the album called 'Boi' which means colors. The whole album is inspired by everything around us, objects, people, colors, energy, thoughts, feelings.... everything!

'Lemon' was representing the yellow things… as sun rays, warmth... nice feeling that we have... The sound of the lead synth is yellow for me as well if I could visualize it. This tune is pretty important to me as its part from my 2-3 years project that is my first solo album where I mostly express my feelings try different periods of time. You can see that for me this track wakes positive, warm feelings... and I really hope it will impact others the way I’m feeling it

We are glad to present BAIRES013 called "Stereotypes" by the hand of Rodrigo Mateo.
After his successful release "Carbon Monoxide" released in 2011, Rodrigo Mateo makes his return with an excellent original called "Stereotypes"

Stereoypes's Concept:

Music is continuously changing, evolving into amazing new fusions impossible to catalog. The entire concept of 'Stereotypes'. Born as a retrospective of progressive house evolution, trying to understand what we gain, but especially what we are leaving behind and what we already lost.
Sometimes I feel empty. I remember how just a few years ago I used to fill that emptiness with beautiful melodies, capable of producing strange thoughts, unexpected feelings and reactions. I find this activity harder as the time goes by. Luckily those melodies will last forever, they will always accomplish their prime objective: to transmit a state of mind which can't be expressed with words or any other way. 'Stereotypes' is just the way I get materialized that retrospective, how I explain my actual state of mind, my mood and my feelings.

In this opportunity we focused on creating a complex pack with three very different remixes, where everyone enhance the concept in a different way. Baires owners Santiago Garcia & Dark Soul Project performed an amazing work, giving presence to a secondary piano sequence of the original. Groovy percussions and baseline with a fantastic female vocal. Very hypnotic and special to the dancefloor.

Santiago Mossman from Argentina. Where a producer work on something he is in love with, the result will always be greater. He wanted to be part of this EP since the first time he heard 'Stereotypes', he was fascinated. That is a very important value added. He fantastically twisted the melody maintaining the essence, created a build up with elements from the original mix and combined everything with a beautiful and hypnotic construction.

Not less for being last, Exoplanet. I always admired him as a musician, finding in his productions a big source of inspiration. He is a truly genius who with his music, during the last years, has left something magic and eternal in my subconsciousness. Exoplanet, from Netherlands, achieved a work that aims to the mind, very enjoyable and dynamic, with a lot of sounds out of the progressive schema. A very beautiful and different interpretation.

Is indescribable, is something that you just only have to listen and you will see what we are talking about…
Here we have once again one of the owners of Baires Records. With an outstanding original mix… A record that was sounding around the party’s, and was a hit on his sets, with some new versions…
Great moments are around this track…. And we are sure that you will have also some.
The groove with that atmosphere makes a perfect background to the break to listen sweet melodies with flying strings… and when it comes out the party start again… This is a great example in what we want to show in Baires Records…
On the other side we have the remixers of this release, some of the best here, all together in one EP!
Andrea Cassino, did an awesome version, where you will find huge swing, with some house touches, laden of pads and trips, a beautiful progressive house journey. Elegant music for elegant ears.
Francesco Pico is another one. In this opportunity comes with an awesome funky house groove with some interesting elements, as always a hit on his hands… this guy really knows how to groove…
And the final Mix is for the fans of the progressive sound… Yes! Here we have an amazing job from Luke Porter one of the best progressive producer and dj at this times. With an incredible taste he did a big room version of the original track… A powerful groove with some trippy journeys and a break to close your eyes and enjoy.

Release info: Baires Records is glad to present the BAIRES15, "Drowned In The Mood" by Mindlook (Dark Soul Project & Santiago Garcia).

Mindlook is a project created by the owners of Baires Records in mid 2012. This project arose from a strong friendship between "Ivan Jaime" and "Santiago Fariña. These guys are very identified among them, as they do, what they think, and what they want to do, from there is how the name arose Mindlook. "Mind" referring to the same thought, and "look" to the vision of things. This duo, in order to show the commercial side of under music, their sound was characterized as a mix between progressive house genre, techno & house.
Happy to edit and display the first release under the new name, Mindlook surprised us with an excellent original track called "Drowned In The Mood".

This original mix is accompanied by one remix, we're talking nothing more and nothing less than the legendary DJ and producer "Dean Coleman".

Dean Coleman is not just a common producer, he has a history behind him, he is part of the history of the progressive house. We can say a young legend. Part of the renaissance album on Hernan Cattaneo selection doing a collaboration with him, also with the support of big names, we are glad to have an artists like him.
