There are a few tracks on that site i havent ever released too.
I saw a couple of demos on other sites previously too.
SOmeone is leaking for sure.
Seems our trust is being abused somewhere along the line.
Watermarking is a very good idea.
Just a shame it has to come to that course of action.

UMT's a scene rip group. as far as i remember they come from Cali. Can be wrong with this one but definetely a scene rip group. Wouldn' mind asking Rage if he knows these guys. Don't suppose he would set em up but who doesnt try doesnt gain. simple as is. On a behalf gotta say things like that sux big tyme.

A while ago we found a site with 2 folders of devine disorder stuff and it was before we had started releasing any Lektroid do you mind explaining how to do this watermarking

The entire AF1 compilation is up on this site Also Nu Electro 3, Blastromen album etc. But that's not the point, as any file-trader could have bought the digital editions and uploaded them there... What really pisses me off is that some stupid guy whom Richie, Dave and eventually other producers as well, trusted to hear or promote their demo unreleased stuff, leaked these confidential files to a pirate place and ruined these guys' work... He should be ashamed the jerk (to say the least...)

Its a pain in the ass to say the least.
I have to say that im not sending any demos etc out at all now.
I stopped doing this a while back after DDR found unreleased stuff/Demos online.
I stick the odd short demo on Soundcloud now and thats about it.
Any demos, new tracks etc get shared privately with those im working with...and thats it.
This also brings to mind the Egyptian Lover "this is nu electro" track that got used in a mix before being released earlier this year.
There is defo a hole somewhere that needs plugging !

mp3's should be treated just as vinyl, bought or traded one to one, think i'll take one of my crates and set it on the portch so people walking by can grab a couple as they pass.

For me it`s kind of a moral thing.

Filesharing is ok. until it`s like any high commercial Act for example, they are rich their producers are rich and everyone around them has plenty of money, so for me it`s okay to share.

But a demo from some electro producer, no way i would not download that kind of thing.

If you passin by a demo of country producer u'd probably touch it wouldn ya? that smells of hipocrisy in my opinion. never approved a neglacting behaviour against other genres of music. I dl shit so its easier to make a decision whether buy it or not. Right point of morality but killing pluralism is impossible. That's the nature of morality.
