Show Summary:
As I do every week I will begin by talking about a couple tracks featured in this weeks podcast. The first track I would like to mention we talked a little about last week. This would be Fight for Your Right to Electro by Prototype. This is from the Log into the Future EP which has now been released on Devine Disorder records. This is his first Release on Devine Disorder, you can find it on Junodownload. Also this week I dropped a couple tracks from Black Tokyo. Black Tokyo is a new alias for Aux 88 which focuses on a 4/4 beat as well as electro. For the Vinyl lovers these tracks are already out, A full CD album is comming in september. Next we have a tune from MicroControlUnit aka MCU. You might of first heard about MCU from his incredible live set that made its rounds on the forums & received great recognition. He also has a set featured on Technobass.net which is still available for download. Tonight’s track is called fourths & is a forthcoming release on Intellegenix. Intellegenix is a label run by Syntonics, which I just learned released artists such as Cryogenetic & The Freek Macheen. Next I dropped a couple tracks forthcoming from Defekt’s Stimulus LP for Takeover Recordings. This album has a Warm Spacey Analog sound featuring some slower downtempo tunes as well as some faster electro bombs. This album will be released as a Digi LP accompanied by a 4 track Vinyl EP. Earlier this year he appeared on Exzakt’s Electro Endeavors mix CD & you can also watch out for him involved in many other projects like ESS, and modular synthesis three piece, PushMoveClick & L System. Finally we have a brilliantly weird track from Robodrum which is sure to impress & devastate & leave you in a state of panic, shock & awe. Yes I am very enthusiastic about this track, Robodrum has grown to be one of my favorite new artists in electro. He has a Dark & Robotic sound with a powerful, snappy rhythm. This track will be featured as a digi only Bonus track for the Advanced Funk Vol. 1 Album which has been set to come out on September 27th. Don’t Sleep.

Show Summary:
This week we got the best of some new & some old. I played a couple brand new releases, the first being Binalog Frequency’s Funk Mechanic EP which is out now. Binalog Productions is fastly growing to be one of electro’s most active labels & one of the reasons I have named this the year of electro. Have you noticed it seems like this guy releases a new EP almost weekly. This EP features 2 versions of the track by label owner Binalog Freq. as well as a remix from the one & only Dj R21. Next I dropped Defekts remix of forgotten Secrets off Rouge Frequency’s EP which is now out exclusively at Junodownload. Then we whipped through some older tracks & started to wrap things up with a tune from The dexorcist off exzakt’s reworked & remixed EP. This is the tune that first got me hooked on electro. Finally tunes from Dj Mirage forthcoming on Devine Disorder, a track from Atonic preparing for his new album dropping in January, & another one from MCU forthcoming on Intellegenix (see august 12th 4 more info) Thanks for tuning see ya next week.

Show Summary:
I decided to switch it up a bit this week with a 90’s Hip-Hop/Rap set During the second hour of the show. I began the show Rockin’ some electro beats from Andrew Red Hand, Letroset, UKV, Dr. Schmidt, & Pip Willaims. Also played a bunch of new stuff from Dominance Electricity. Including a couple tunes from the long awaited Blastromen Album which is now finally out, as well as a couple incredible tracks from the Global Surveyor Remix EP. This includes Komarken Electronics Avoid Society mix & The Exaltics Journey Mix which is one of the three remixes they did for the CD & Digi album also out now. One of the remixes they did was under a different alias Crotaphytus. Which I’ll play next week. Moving into the Rap portion of tonight’s show with Newcleus & the B Boys new track We Devolve I played a short mix I recorded back in March. This mix is the first I ever made with rap records. All the tracks are from OGC’s Da Storm Album. This album came out in 96 & is one of my favorite rap records. OGC is a group part of the Group Boot Camp Clik, which includes a huge roster of artists such as Black Moon & Sean Price. Also droped a dope track from a Britcore MC, Reach Da Repa with a killer beat produced by DJ Kura the track is called Lyrical Murder. And the Lyrics were murdered quite well. Reach has a new album out now called Disturbed Visions. You can check him out on myspace @ http://www.myspace.com/reachdareapa. Hear you can check out previews of his album or even purchase it & much more. Thanks for tuning!!!Full track list:
