Dave Smith instruments Mopho.
(Monophonic)
You may wanna consider one of these bad boys.
Good price, good sounds in my humble opinion.
Module i know, but decent bang for buck !

For starters, I wouldn't rush into synth buying with a 'quick answer', there are many different solutions, which will determine which will suit your setup best.
The Bass Station was sold as being analog, and there was a shroud of mystery as to whether it was fully analogue, or a hybrid; and if the latter, which parts of the synth are analog, and which are digital? I have owned both the super bass station (which I sold years ago), and currently own the standard bass station rack. After opening it up, I found the give away DSP chip located inside: Not very analog!!! Although the filter might be? I didn't have time to go around it with a scope. The Bass Stations are handy for their built-in MIDI/CV converter though.
You could try the Analogue Systems Spawn:
Or the Oberheim SEM:
There are a few other analogues about at the moment that don't have the vintage price tag too.
thanks for the advice!
i've been looking for a juno (or polysix) for quite some time now so that would be my first choice.
a monophonic bass synth isn't top priority, but i just discovered a used bass station that someone is selling for a really cheap price. all the bass station demos on youtube don't sound that good though.
that new oberheim Sem sounds really close to the original , lot's of "analog freaks" are frantic about that gear ... but the price :))))))
The SEM does sound slightly different to the original, this is down to the original using Curtis CEM/SSM chips, which were discontinued after the guy who designed them died. They are now very sought after. Therefore Oberheim have since substituted the circuit with an alternative design (although they are still amazing bits of kit). This is also one of the reasons vintage gear has such a high price tag. But, if one of the SSM chips pops in your old Poly Six, it is costly to replace (provided you can get them). Second-hand ones rarely appear on ebay, although I'm lucky enough have a stash of them which I'm designing boards for to go into my modular.
I would personally recommend new gear if you're setting up a studio, be it analogue or digital. For starters they are built with modern components, which are much higher precision, and the interface on modern gear usually allows for much more in-depth programmability. If you want an analogue filter, grab a Moogerfooger MF101 from ebay.
Another option (highly recommended):
the Moogerfooger filter:
blofeld is rating very high in my gear shopping list

well, yes and no. what i did is read reviews and listen to loads of demos on youtube. and the new gear wasn't all that appealing to me.
After working with softsynths and being unsatisfied, I'd really like to get some hands-on, tweakable stuff: no menu, no in-depth programmability, just an easy layout and a good sound.
If you are looking for thick & fat wall-shaking analog bass...i would go for this one. You will find a lot of them on ebay realy cheap!

Oh real cheap those, almost give away prices!
Oh, come on guys...dont you think 899$ is a fair prize for this analog bass-monster?
for that amount of money i will buy real vintage gear :))))
Why not grab yourself a real bargain:

^this might be a good synth, but you will never know from a video like this. shitty mopho sequence + acid-sounding tweaking = zero information.
