Best analog Vocoder

I would have to look into what a Korg Electribe is first...like I said, I'm pretty new at this, .............

i get great sound out of my T.C. Helecon "Synth" pedal. You can either use a carrier or it has an option to use your voice as the carrier which allows for a more humanized vocoder effect helpful when understanding fast lyrics is important and just to give a different feel to your tracks...it has fantastic distortion as well...and at 250 bucks its hard to go wrong...i would test drive one at your local guitar center first to see if you like working with it...

Synton Synthovox 222 vocoder.
It's not that common as the Roland SVC or the Korg VC10 but I love it.--

I myself have a Nord Micro Modulator_bit of a pain to edit the software on the computer but i think its the best bang for your buck!
-
+1 for nord micro modular. great value for money if you want a vocoder and it can be used for a lot more besides. not analog tho, but still sounds great.

I use the Nord Micro Modulator from Clavia, bit tedious to program but pretty happy with the sound...
