I thought I would start a thread where we can post info on synths. Just cuz I'm doing research anyway ;)!

ensoniq esq1
a friend of mine repair old synths and told me that he opened a esq1 and he was very surprised cose he say that is a mosnter camuflated!! and is very cheap on ebay!! -

That arp oddysey sounds amazing!I just looked up info on the ensoniq esq1 it says "The ESQ-1 is a mostly digital (It has analog filters) 8 voice polyphonic, synthesizer with multitimbral (8-part) capabilities and MIDI."
I don't really know what all that means
It's mostly digital but has analog filters

yes exactly it have the sounds on a CHIP (digital)but the filter (cut of and resonance) is a analogical circuit,more warm!!
polifony is that you can play chors with it and multitimbrical will mean that you can play several sounds at same time(every sound on a diferent midi chanel) -
