ok this was really cool but it makes me feel really reeaaally far from where I want to be. what do u need to be an electrician to understand these machines...? lol

Ive got Korg Radias which takes the ms2000 into the next generation, much easier to edit with the usb and the vocoder is the bomb.

hi urbanjedi
i looked up the korg radius - what IS it. it looks like a mixer with a keyboard attached to it. whereas the ms2000 looks like a mixing console with a keyboard attached to it.
ok i know nothing. i'm going back to my research...... -

ok i know nothing. i'm going back to my research......Ive got the rack version without the keyboard, to be honest the keyboard isnt that great but the rack is the bomb, i found the keyboard a bit of a rip off as its just a midi controller for the radias rack, i got mine off ebay for a good price.
Best way to hear it is on you tube theres some nice videos posted up there. -
Awesome! I'll try this out soon... I got a ms-2000 lying around

The MS 2000 is one of the best synths to come out in a long time! if you wanna be serious about synthesis, this is the machine. Not many give you so many parameters to edit your patches like this one does.
Tele:
The reason it looks like a mixing board with a keyboard attached to it, is because it is a Synthesizer that is meant to shape sound with many parameters, like filters, lfos, etc. That's why you have all the knobs, each its own section.
The sound essentially starts at your oscillators, then moves though a mixer, then passes through a filter, and so on...each thing dedicated to affect the sound a certain way.

Notihng like having a good knob twiddle !
It is a good piece of kit tho, the sounds are top .
